Wonder Woman was a custom concept monster truck created by FELD Motorsports and owned by DC Comics, based on the comic book character of the same name. The truck has been exclusively driven by various female drivers over the course of its career, including Linsey Read, Rhianna Buchanan, Collete Davis and Haley Gauley.

History[]

Wonder Woman was first unveiled to the public at the Monster Jam World Finals XVIII pit party on March 23, 2017. Following the World Finals, the truck would compete in select stadium events for the remainder of the season, with former Scooby-Doo! driver Linsey Read behind the wheel. A second Wonder Woman would also be featured in that year’s Australian tour, with Australian native Rhianna Buchanan driving.

In 2018, Read returned to driving Scooby-Doo for the Monster Jam Arena Championship Series. Rookie driver Collette Davis took over the driving duties, competing in the Triple Threat Series EastMacey Nichter would notably fill-in for Collette in Greensboro. Both Davis and the truck would later be invited to compete in the Double Down Showdown at Monster Jam World Finals XIX. Meanwhile, Rhianna Buchanan would again drive the truck for that year’s Australian tour, and Becky McDonough would drive the truck in Costa Rica. Davis would retire from driving later in the season following scheduling conflicts.

In 2019, Wonder Woman competed exclusively in that year’s International tour with Haley Gauley taking over the driving duties. Brianna Mahon would also temporarily drive the truck in Manchester. The truck would make its last competition appearance at Singapore on December 7th, 2019. Wonder Woman was again slated to compete in the International tour in 2020 under Gauley. However, the tour and remainder of the 2020 season would ultimately be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gauley, along with many other drivers, would later be furloughed by FELD Motorsports as a result of the pandemic. The truck would silently be retired at the end of 2021 without any announcement after two years of absence.
