Tuff E'Nuff is a Chevrolet monster truck owned and driven by Jack Koberna out of New Mexico. The truck's name is a pun on the phrase "Tough Enough".

History[]

In 1992, Jack Koberna purchased the original leaf spring Tuff E’Nuff truck from Pablo Crusz. Following the purchase, the truck originally ran unbranded as a yellow Ford flare side.

In 2000, a new chassis, featuring a tube frame and coil-over shocks, was constructed for Tuff E’Nuff to replace the original, which was eventually sold to Mike Welch. The truck would also receive a sponsorship from Remco Products, and debuted a new paint scheme.

In 2003, Tuff E’Nuff received a new silver paint scheme. In 2006, the truck received a sponsorship from Bar's Leaks and a new turquoise paint scheme would debuted on the truck in the process. The turquoise color was used until the beginning of the 2007 season, after which a new black and yellow scheme was introduced following a sponsorship from Rislone Engine Treatment.

In 2008, Koberna sold the chassis to Crashmasters Racing. Said team would continue to campaign the Tuff E’Nuff name until 2010, when it was converted into Ice. Tuff E’Nuff would be placed on hiatus until 2012, after Koberna rebuilt his other truck, Cyborg, into a four-wheel-drive monster truck. The truck would also debut a new paint scheme.

For the 2013 season, Tuff E’Nuff ran two different paint schemes. The first paint scheme was grey with orange flame decals on the side panels, and the second body was black, featuring actual flames on the side panels.

In 2014, a brand-new chassis was constructed for Tuff E’Nuff. The truck would also receive a new design, featuring a Chevrolet Silverado trophy truck. Koberna would continue to campaign the design until the end of the 2015 season, when his sponsorship with Rislone ended. Tuff E’Nuff then received a temporary blue paint scheme for the start of the 2016 season. Later that year, a new design debuted, which was reminiscent of the previous design from 2003. Tuff E’Nuff debuted a new yellow paint scheme in 2017, which paid homage to the original design, as well as Koberna’s other truck, The Beast.

In 2024, Jack Koberna sadly passed away. The future of Tuff E'Nuff is unknown.
