Jekyll & Hyde is a Chevrolet Silverado monster truck owned by 2Xtreme Racing out of Tonganoxie, Kansas. It is driven by Rob Poutre.

History[]

Jekyll & Hyde debuted in 2017 as the successor to Knucklehead with Austin Minton behind the wheel. At the time of its debut, the truck campaigned a 2005 Ford Expedition body style, similar to all other 2Xtreme Racing trucks.

In 2018, Jekyll & Hyde competed as a second Bounty Hunter for Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series 4, and eventually the Double Down Showdown at Monster Jam World Finals XIX, with Minton driving. Following the first quarter, Jekyll & Hyde would make its first Monster Jam appearance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on April 28.

Beginning in 2019, Jekyll & Hyde competed in the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series West, running as Megalodon. After the series, Minton would be hired out by Vaters Motorsports to drive Taurus for the remainder of the season, resulting in various drivers, including David Olfert, driving the truck. It would also compete as Bounty Hunter for select shows, and even run as The Dublin Smasher for a show in Dublin, Georgia on November 2.

In 2020, Jekyll & Hyde would again compete as Megalodon in the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series West. After the series abruptly ended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Jekyll & Hyde would compete in select shows for the remainder of the season. The truck would also debut a brand-new dual-sided design, featuring a new Chevrolet Silverado body style. Tyler Senger also drives the truck. It would receive another updated dual-sided paint scheme two years later.

In June 2022, Rob Poutre takes over the driving duties.

In 2023, the truck would return back to the 2005 Ford Expedition body.
