Trivia[]

  • This show was the competition debut of Grave Digger 19, as well as the new schemes for Brutus, Bounty Hunter, Devastator, Bad News Travels Fast, Scarlet Bandit, Eradicator, Little Tiger and Destroyer.
  • Grave Digger didn't freestyle due to his racing crash. The truck on the second jump made a bad rebound, where the rear bounced up in the air and it ended up locking up the rear differential and flipped him into a wall on the out of bounds area. The truck was unfixable.
  • This event featured the first appearance of Hot Wheels since World Finals III two years prior and marked was its first event as a full-time competition truck. Though it was advertised as High Roller before the show.
  • This was the Monster Jam television debuts of Chad Tingler, Chris Bergeron, Bruce Haney and Mark Schroeder.
  • This was the first televised event at Reliant Stadium due to the 2003 season not being televised.
  • Unlike the second show, the first show was televised, the second show was only shown as an "Around the USHRA" segment.
