Brian Welch was a driver out of Griffith, Indiana. He started his career driving Hangin' On. Later, he would build Moving Violation and become more competitive, beginning to tour regularly with the PENDA points series. In the late 90's, he was hired by Paul Shafer to drive Monster Patrol on the former Taurus 5 chassis, most likely due to living nearby to Paul. Upon retiring from driving, he became an event director for Monster Jam/FELD, but currently works as Director of International Operations.
