Knucklehead is/was a 2005 Ford Expedition monster truck owned by 2Xtreme Racing out of Tonganoxie, Kansas, and based around the heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. The truck served as a specialty body, running on various chassis owned by the team and is driven by various drivers, including the band's lead guitarist, Zoltan Bathory. The truck was originally used in full-time competition until 2017, when its chassis was converted into Jekyll & Hyde.

History[]

Knucklehead was originally created in 2014 and began competition later that year with Zoltan Bathory behind the wheel. At the time of its debut, the truck featured a 2005 Ford Expedition body style.

In 2015, the truck received a brand-new design, featuring a 3D skull body style. Trent Montgomery would also begin driving the truck, sharing driving duties with Bathory until he began to step away from driving the truck towards the end of the following season.

In 2017, Knucklehead would resume using its original design. Russell Steeley would begin driving the truck, including at its first Monster Jam appearance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Christian Norman would also drive the truck on occasion. Later in the season, the truck was succeeded by Jekyll & Hyde, but would still serve as a backup truck for the time being.

The truck's most recent appearance was in 2019.
