Quad Chaos is a custom ATV monster truck owned by James Trantina out of Elk River, Minnesota. It was formerly driven by Bailey Shea and Michael Hicks, as well as Aaron Cain, who originally drove the truck from its creation in 2014 until his retirement by the end of the 2019 season. Since its debut, Quad Chaos has been a staple of several monster truck leagues, but has been a full-time competitor in Monster Truck Throwdown and the Toughest Monster Truck Tour.

History[]

Quad Chaos was originally created in 2014 after Badlands Racing acquired the previous Bad Habit chassis from Joe Sylvester. The truck would debut later that summer, with Aaron Cain as the driver. At the time of its debut, the truck competed in leagues such as the All-Star Monster Truck Tour and Monster Truck Throwdown.

In 2015, Quad Chaos entered its first full year of competition with the Toughest Monster Truck Tour. The following year, Quad Chaos debuted a new paint scheme, which was first unveiled at the Monster Jam World Finals XVII pit party.

In 2017, Quad Chaos made its first (and only) appearance in Monster Jam at the opening show of Stadium Championship Series 4 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

In 2018, Quad Chaos received a new paint scheme, featuring a slightly darker shade of green. The truck received another new paint scheme in 2019. That year would also be Cain’s final year of driving the truck, as he would retire from competition by the end of the season (though he was scheduled to join Team Throttle to drive its newcomer, Rockwell R.E.D. the following years, but never did and would instead make his return in 2022 driving Jester on a Stadium Tour in Detroit). A new driver was announced later in the season, being former Scooby-Doo driver Bailey Shea.

In 2020, Quad Chaos debuted a brand-new pink paint scheme, as Shea entered her first full year of competition driving the truck. Later in the season, crew chief Michael Hicks began driving the truck with the green scheme which Cain originally drove, making his driving debut in Maple Park, Illinois. Since then, both Hicks and Shea had shared driving duties.

In 2022, the truck debuts two alter-ego's, Holeshot debuts in May under Zack Garner and Dozer in July. In December, James Trantina III purchases the Quad Chaos name and body, along with its alter ego, Holeshot.

In 2023, Quad Chaos made its debut for Triple B Motorsports on the former Ice Cream Man chassis with Brett Falvey driving.

In 2024, the truck runs a new chassis (formerly Bear Foot), along with a new red paint scheme and driven by Byron Cadigan. James Owens drives the truck in Proctorville, Ohio.
