Wally Turner is the driver and owner of Sniper. He began driving Hitman in 2011. That truck was eventually sold to Australia. He debuted Sniper in 2015 after 2 years rebuilding it. Turner wanted his truck to pay tribute to the military as well as keeping it related to Hitman. He came up with the name "Sniper". He later found out that Rob French owned the name from his Sniper. Turner would call French and would ask him if he could run the name not as a continuation of his truck, but as the representation of the military. French would allow Turner to use the name as he believed Turner would make good use of it.
