High Voltage was a Jeep Wrangler monster truck based out of Washington.
1980's-1990's: Bainter era[]
Jeff Bainter out of Yakima, Washington built High Voltage and Hot Stuff in 1985 and started competing with them the following year. Jeff would continue to run the Jeeps until 1996, when he put them aside to work on his new truck, Captain USA.
2000's: Bill Payne era[]
Fellow Washington driver Bill Payne would bring back High Voltage in 2002. He campaigned High Voltage until 2007, when he replaced it with Rockstar. Jamie Rush has also driven the truck. The year(s) & event(s) are not known.
