Bigfoot 2 was a Ford monster truck owned and built by Bigfoot 4X4 from 1982-2000. The truck was originally built to match Bigfoot 1, and incorporated parts that had previously been used on the original truck (such as the original frame rails, which had been damaged during the filming of Take This Job and Shove It, the first film to feature monster trucks), but also incorporated upgrades, including being the first truck ever to use now-standard 66-inch tires.

History[]

Due to high demand for Bigfoot, a second one was built in 1982 to make additional appearances. The truck made its debut at the Pontiac Silverdome where it performed the first public car crush.

In 1983, Bigfoot 2 appeared in the first televised monster truck race against USA-1 on Thats Incredible!

In 1985, The truck raced a paddlewheel riverboat on the Chattahoochee River in Columbus, Georgia.

Safarifoot[]

After being supplanted by subsequent Bigfoot trucks, Bigfoot 2 laid dormant for several years, before becoming the ride truck Safarifoot in 1992. It later ran as Safari-Snake, before being sold several times, with its last known identity being Titan. The truck was driven by Don Breitweiser from 1986-1989.

In 2000, Bigfoot 2 was sold to an independent owner. It is currently being restored.
