Captain USA is a Chevrolet monster truck owned by Jeff Bainter out of Yakima, Washington. It is currently driven by Dawson Rayas.

History

Jeff Bainter created the truck in 1998 and several drivers have piloted the truck over the years, including Travis Groth and Roger Stidell. The truck was originally called "Captain America", but it was renamed to "Captain USA" in 2004 to avoid conflict with the character of the same name. The name "Captain USA" was leased from Paul Shafer Motorsports. The truck also temporarily ran as "The Captain" in 2004, 2012, 2013 and 2023. In 2014, Travis competed with Captain USA in the Monster Jam Young Guns Shootout.
