Ty Cornelius Sr. is a retired monster truck driver out of Delta, Pennsylvania. He is the father of Ty Cornelius Jr. and was the driver of Backdraft from 2014-2018.
Career[]
Ty began driving in 2014, after Paul Breaud bought Backdraft from Jeremy and Andy Slifko.
In 2018, Ty retired due to a chronic back problem. His son took over as the driver of Backdraft.
