Aftershock is a Chevrolet Silverado monster truck owned and driven by Donny Hebert and originally created by Bob Robbins, who was the most well-known owner and driver of the truck, competing from 2000 until 2017.
History[]
At the time of its debut, the truck featured a blue paint scheme with white flames on the hood and side panels. Robbins would drive the truck in various events across the United States and Canada, with Joe Nitcher sharing the driving duties for a brief period of time. Due to reasons unknown, Jeff Smith drove the truck at the first Pontiac show.
In 2007, Aftershock received a new chassis, which was constructed by Jim Koehler of Team Scream Racing. A similar chassis would be constructed the following year for the truck’s new teammate, Warrior, which became Krazy Train two years later. Meanwhile, the original chassis was sold to Joey & Melissa Stathas, and converted into God Guts and Glory. During that time, Robbins and Aftershock became main competitors in the Monster Jam Freestyle Mania tour.
Aftershock received a brand-new paint scheme at the start of the 2012 season. Another new paint scheme would debut three years later, featuring a grey-black gradient. Robbins continued to operate the truck until 2017. After competing in Monster Jam Arena Championship Series 5 that year, Robbins retired from competition, and sold the truck to Donny Hebert.
After Hebert took over ownership of Aftershock, the truck received a new paint scheme, featuring green paint splatters all over the truck’s current paint scheme. Since then, Hebert and Aftershock have competed primarily in Monster Truckz. Aftershock would receive a completely new design in 2022, featuring a Chevrolet Silverado Baja body style.

- Aftershock’s original tires featured uniquely cut treads, with flame patterns cut into the grooves.
- The 2020 Spin Master diecast of Aftershock is the Donny Hebert scheme, yet Donny has never competed in Monster Jam yet.
- The truck also ran as Monster Patrol.
