Maxie Lee Broaddus (April 21st, 1966-December 31st, 2015) was a monster truck owner and driver out of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was the owner and driver of Walking Tall.
Career[]
Before getting into monster trucks, Maxie was a tractor puller and a farmer.
In 2012, Maxie debuted Walking Tall.
In 2015, Maxie won the title "King of the Beach" at that year's Monsters on the Beach event.
Death and Legacy[]
Maxie suddenly passed away on December 31st, 2015, from a health condition. In his honor, The King of the Beach title was renamed to "Beast of the Beach" in 2017.

- Despite never competing in Monster Jam, Maxie and his truck both appeared in yearbooks up until 2016.
- He was going to compete in Monster Jam in 2016, but since he passed away, the truck never ran, even with a different driver.
