Maniac is a Chevrolet monster truck owned by Don Frankish out of Alberta, Canada and currently leased to and driven by Dave Smith out of Stanwood, Washington since 2016.
History[]
Frankish created the truck in 1984 as a mud bogger and would turn it into a full blown monster truck in 1989. Frankish was known for his fast racing style and aggressive freestyle, gaining him a solid fanbase in the mid to late 2000's. Mike Bell has also driven the truck. Frankish leased the name and truck to Trent Hickie in 2011, who redesigned the truck in 2011 with a new body, and a new chassis being the old Jurassic Attack. The old chassis would be sold and then be turned into Geronimo. The truck began being leased to Dave Smith in 2016, who has driven it ever since. This truck was also featured in the movie Rat Race with its teammate at the time, Jurassic Attack & several other trucks.
