Captain USA is a Chevrolet monster truck owned by James Trantina which ran from 2004-2012. It was formerly owned by Paul Shafer Motorsports. The truck is best known for being piloted by Rodney Tweedy and has no relation to Jeff Bainter's Captain USA, despite sharing the same name and a similar paint scheme.
The main chassis used was formerly Boogey Van, which also ran as Monster Patrol (Tweedy). The chassis was sold to Australia where it became Monster Patrol (Gilbert). It was then run on a former Bear Foot chassis until its retirement.
On January 27, 2022, the truck and name would be sold to James Trantina III.
